Georgia Crush 2015 record 5-3 (formerly Southern States Division, now Xtreme South Division)
Head Coach: Carzell Singleton
Offensive Scheme: Spread
Points Scored: 130 (16.2 ppg)
Offense: QB Marcus Brooks is the catalyst for the Crush. Brooks, a veteran of four GDFL seasons is the field general. He utilizes a spread offense to confound defenses. Look for WR Kenny Jordan to break downfield and stretch defenses. Georgia will attempt to establish the run early and often behind a mammoth offensive line that boasts size, skill, and depth. The Crush employs a complete running game. Eric Williams is the power back, while Adam Crump uses quickness and elusiveness to attack the perimeter.
Defensive Scheme: 4-3
Points Allowed 107 (13. 4 ppg)
Defense: The front four set the tone for the entire group. Defensive Linemen Darrell Lake and Jared Nelson attempt to dominate the line of scrimmage, while Kwesi Mace can either rush standing up or with his hand in the dirt. CB/Rover Treze Williams is a ball hawk that patrols the secondary. The Crush will attempt to wear opponents down by blunt defensive force.
X-Factor: FB Onterrial Martin is an uncommon fullback. While he can definitely block, he is an explosive runner than will accrue positive chunks of yardage.
Outlook: The Crush look to improve upon a season where they won a playoff game (26-18 over the South Carolina Bulls), before falling to the Carolina Dynasty. Is this the year Georgia makes a championship run?
